About Me
Hello there friend! I am honored that you are here. My purpose on this Earth is to help people help themselves. I am so excited to start this journey with you.
My Philosophy
I help humans overcome life obstacles that are hindering their ability to fully TRUST in themselves. I coach clients on topics such as stress management, boundaries, relationships, burnout, chronic pain and life transitions. All relationships are built on safety and trust and this is the foundation of our coaching work together. I strive to provide my clients with the clearest and most straight forward path to their goals.
I specifically work from a mind/body based somatic approach in my coaching style. I earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University and I am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. Also, I am a registered 200 Hr Yoga teacher. I merge these two passions in my life: psychology and yoga to create a coaching experience that merges the East and West. My two niches within my client base are highly sensitive people/empaths and individuals that identify as LGBTQ+.

I started out my career in psychology working with clients experiencing severe mental illness in residential treatment. I worked as a direct care taker and provided psychiatric medication treatment to our clients here. I worked my way up to becoming an administrator for these facilities at the young age of 23 years old. It was what people describe as-the "trenches" of mental health care. I traveled to Southeast Asia in 2018 and received my 200 Hour Yoga teacher certification from Samma Karuna Awakening and Healing School in Koh Phangan, Thailand. I now refer to these years as the foundation of my professional career and this is when my goal to work with people on a psychological and spiritual level came to fruition. It is my dream to help people heal themselves from this holistic perspective-viewing the Self from a physical, mental, and spiritual standpoint.
I got my Master’s degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University in 2021. I have worked with seniors, adults, children, teens, couples, and everything in between. I worked in an outpatient rehabilitation treatment center, free clinics, and private practices. I loved helping people, but I became frustrated with the American mental health system. It felt like I had to fit in a certain box to achieve any of the goals I set out for myself. I also felt like focusing so much on the past in treatment was helpful, but I felt like there was more that I could offer to my clients. I craved a career where I could use my therapy knowledge AND my yoga/mindfulness knowledge to help people.
I felt like I wanted more. Have you ever felt this way? You work so hard for a goal, you finally reach that goal, and then you are left with the dreadful, "Okay, now what?" You can feel in your heart that there is something more for you. I felt burnt out, frustrated, and unfulfilled. So, I did the thing.
I quit my job as a therapist in 2022 and moved to a remote island to pursue scuba diving full time. It was magical yet extremely difficult. There may be a point in everyone's life where there is a before the ___ and an after the _____. My blank, was this.
I was in a major life altering car accident on July 27th, 2024. I was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. It was the worst day of my lie. When you hear someone speak of trauma, this was it. I had physical injuries that were luckily not life threatening. But everything in my body, mind, and spirit hurt. I felt broken. Completely. Everything from that day was a huge blur, but every healthcare worker I interacted with said things such as this: "You are so lucky to be alive, and that your injuries aren't worse." "It is a miracle." "Someone is looking out for you. You have an angel on your side."
This incident led to a massive spiritual awakening for me. I felt like I was cracked wide open. This was the turning point for me. I knew that I had to change. The old patterns and belief systems that ruled my life could no longer exist because there was only one thing I could do- focus on myself and not only heal, but heal on a very deep and profound spiritual level. I was, literally, pushed to an extreme stop. In all areas of my life.
Sometimes it takes a kick in the ass by life to get you to where you are meant to be. Sometimes it is a moment of, "Am I happy? Are there things that I want to change in my life?" I spent months healing my body with different treatments including physical therapy, reiki, network spinal chiropractic care, yoga, meditation, somatic exercises, I even saw a psychic at one point, and attended a silent meditation retreat. I wanted to literally try anything to feel better. I took it upon myself to have a new full time job- of Healing Myself. It was clear to me that my spiritual awakening was not just about my physical health, but it was about my mind and soul health as well.
So this is (a lot) about me, and where I come from, and WHY I am here. I knew in my heart well before the accident that I wanted to run my own business and that I wanted to be a life coach. There was a little voice in my head after the accident that kept saying, "You will be a coach. You will be good at it. You will be successful. You can do this." My professional experience, education, background and most of all my intuition and trust in myself is why I am here and why I want to help YOU. When I say, I get it, I truly...get it.All of my experiences have led to this moment. They have led to you reading this on your screen and taking the first step towards your own awakening. So let's get started.
Thank you for reading,
Erin
