Hi, I’m Erin. I am a somatic based practitioner and associate marriage and family therapist. I am so glad that you are here.
What is somatic you ask?
The word somatic comes from the Greek sōmatikos, or sōma- ‘body’.
In a nutshell, somatic work involves the body. I assist you with deepening and practicing your mind and body connection in conjunction with your specific goals.

I have a deep understanding that my purpose in life is to help others, and my coaching program is designed for those that need that extra push or support to be your most authentic self. I am not here to tell you what to do; I am here to guide you into unlocking your inner voice and true purpose. You already have the answers inside of you, but sometimes it is really hard to unlock this connection (trust me- I KNOW!). Sometimes we need a little kick in the ass (excuse my french), by spiritual guides, coaches, or soul teachers to help us help ourselves!
My coaching style is straight forward, humorous and holistic. I have worked diligently over the years to perfect my coaching model and to help my clients get real results. I utilize my background as an associate therapist and yoga teacher to blend a variety of modalities in our sessions. I also have a background in theatre and love to add humor and a light hearted attitude to my coaching style. I value play and fun as a human being and this has helped me get through a lot of the hard things in my life. LGBTQ+
I identify as queer and I help clients navigate their goals specific to their uniquely beautiful identities. My personal identity informs my deep understanding of the unique needs of this population.
I worked professionally with LGBTQ+ individuals in a private practice setting as a therapist and my areas of expertise revolved around relationships, sexuality, sexual identity, gender identity, and more. I have worked with LGBTQ+ couples on intimacy/sex therapy specifically and absolutely loved it. Now, as a coach, I work with LGBTQ+ clients on goals related to relationships, professional/career goals, community building, and spirituality.
I have developed a 90 day be YOU model that we can discuss. I utilized somatic based mindfulness practices to support you with your specific goals in mind. It is my pleasure to give back to my own community and help you with areas that I have helped myself.
Highly Sensitive People
Do you usually find yourself picking up on the emotions and energies of others? Do you identify as an empath? Do you find it difficult to speak your needs and identity your own emotions/feelings? Well, you have come to the right place my friend.
I identify as an empath and a highly sensitive person and I have spent years working on myself and overcoming the unique challenges of these personality traits. I have basically looked at all of the things: therapy, books, a masters program in clinical psychology (not the typical), podcasts, movies, workshops, you name it. I have researched highly sensitive people for years to help myself, and now I want to help others.
First things first: there is nothing wrong with you. Highly senstive people have powerful gifts that our busy world seldom recognizes as such. I coach people that identify as highly sensitive/empaths to support them in their journey of trusting in themselves and feeling empowered with their specific life goals. I teach you how to recognize, define, and harness your superpowers as an empath and prevent burnout and exhaustion (feelings we typically have quite often).
Frequently, highly sensitive people are in a survival state (our nervous system is in fight/flight/freeze/fawn). I have developed a motto for this group: I will move from surviving to vibing.
Healers/Healthcare Professionals
Because of my experience in the healthcare system as a previous mental health therapist (I consider myself "retired") I have first hand knowledge of what it is like to be of service to others on a consistent and full time basis.
Your needs are very different than other professionals. I know the struggle. I know the challenge of putting others before yourself and having little to no space leftover for YOU! I provide individual coaching and a weekly group for support for humans in the healing world. I work with: therapists, nurses, EMT's, medical professionals, chiropractors, doctors, and healers of all kinds.
Whether you are looking for a safe space to give back to yourself or wanting tools and resources to help you manage the everyday stressors of being service to your community, I can help you. I have a mindfulness program specifically for healthcare industry workers that utilizes the knowledge I acquired in the Somatic Stress Release Certification course I completed. It is some delicious stuff.

Stress relief isn't about a quick fix: We work together to develop your Stress Profile and identify, accept, support, and heal your stress patterns for LONG LASTING changes.
Boundaries
Ah, the wonderfully powerful word-boundaries. I firmly believe that healthy boundaries are the essence of relationships. I work specifically with adults on defining, setting and maintaining healthy boundaries. This work is profound, and challenging. If you are looking to work on your boundaries in your life, let me help you.
I offer coaching sessions specifically tailored to goals around boundaries, or an add on course to your individual sessions with me that you can have lifetime access to. This includes templates, worksheets and resources to the Boundary Bible I have created.
Life Transitions/Career Changes:
Seeing as I quit my big girl career years ago, and it was probably the scariest thing I have ever done-I literally know what it is like to have everything on paper and to still be unhappy. If you ever ask yourself the question: Why am I doing this? Why am I working at a job that doesn't satisfy me? Who is telling me to do what I am doing? It's time for you to feel empowered! Not that I am here to tell every single person to QUIT YOUR JOB (although I did go through a phase of this and my friends would make fun of me for it)...I am here to support you with the many many questions that come from a BIG life transition moment.
I work with clients specifically on transitions and career changes. I have acquired tons of resources over the years in the realm of career coaching and can support you with this process. It is not easy and you don't have to do this alone.
